at an event surely in charlotte. it's the first of his two plans stops in north carolina today. michelle obama has a speaking appearance in cincinnati. early voting started in ohio this morning. more shots fired in maryland. protesters urging people to vote against question 7 on the november ballot. some of the protesters may have had an ulterior motive. brianne carter has the story from upper marlborough. >> with their signs and shirts, dozen people showed up outside the prince george's county administration building to protest maryland ballot question 7. it would greenlight the plan for a casino in prince george county. >> they want the money to be used for schools, they would never applied to the bills. >> there's an ad on craigslist that raises questions about whether participants came to oppose the casino or because they thought they were getting paid. it says people would get $25 to $40 and a referral bonus if they showed up in a group of three or more. we asked the organizers whether anyone received money to be here today. >> the folks came here today because they believe in the cause.
